Global Hand Washing Day 2024

WRAHI Nigeria participated today, October 15, 2024, in the Global Hand Washing Day 2024 celebration organized by the Bengonet E-Wash Thematic Group. The theme for this year's event was "Clean Hands Save Lives," and it took place at Hearts and Minds School in Makurdi, Benue State. Mrs. Pat Ekre, the Gender and WASH Officer at WRAHI Nigeria, led the WRAHI team at the event, highlighting the importance of hand hygiene in promoting health and preventing disease. The celebration aimed to raise awareness about proper handwashing practices and their critical role in saving lives.
